Add your notes to the scores
Right-click on a place where you want to leave a note, or select an area of the score you want to annotate.
Attach images or videos
Paste in a YouTube url for a video embedding, or an arbitrary image url. For videos, provide a specific time interval that should be played when somebody views your annotation.
Get an image of any part of a sheet, reuse it anywhere
Select an image area, copy the link to the image of the selected area, and use it in a comment at another place.
Identify and annotate musical quotations
Select a section of a score you want to refer to, get a link to its image and attach the image to the place in a place that is quoting from it.
Share performance tips
Set the type of an annotation to Performance. Users can filter annotations by type and can choose to view only annotations related to the performance of a piece.
Comment on annotations by others
Add annotations in places where others have put theirs.
Tell stories about music
Use Viewer’s Javascript API to create presentations. Define a sequence of places and annotations to be shown and publish your story online for everybody to see, or use it during a presentation or in class. A score following example is available here.
Participate in a wiki-style community
See a history of all edits for all public annotations in any score. Anybody can delete any public annotation, but it doesn’t disappear from the edit history and can be restored back.
